Yes Myanmar School Announced as Miss Fightlab 2015 Charity

We recently announced the Miss Fightlab 2015 competition and have received plenty of entries from lots of lovely ladies so far.

However, while the Miss Fightlab 2015 competition is a great bit of fun for all involved, there's a more serious driving force behind it.

As Thailand's leading fight brand we are committed to helping those who are less fortunate than ourselves and that's especially true when it comes to charities in our local area.

The Yes Myanmar School is one such establishment that is in need of help and is the charity that will ultimately benefit from the Miss Fightlab 2015 competition.

Founded just over two and a half years ago, the Yes Myanmar School was setup to help under-privileged Burmese children. Its founder and owner, Mr Park Kyung Wong from Korea, also owns a coffee shop and roasting plant on the school site.

The school receives no public funds and is desperately in need of computers and playground equipment for the children.

Located very close to the Fightlab store in Rawai, Phuket, the Yes Myanmar School is a very worthy cause and will receive all the proceeds from the sale of the Miss Fightlab 2015 calendar. There are also donation boxes located in the various Fightlab stores to give people another way of contributing.

There's still time to get your entry in as we won't be announcing the final 12 Miss Fightlabs until January 5. These 12 lucky ladies will then have their professional photo shoot at Fightlab's Chalong store on January 15. The finished calendar will then go on sale on January 25 with all the proceeds going straight to the Yes Myanmar School.

So if you think you've got what it takes to be Miss Fightlab 2015, simply post a picture of yourself on our Fightlab Facebook page with the caption, “I’m Miss Fightlab 2015”. If you're one of the final 12 you'll get your photo featured in our 2015 calendar & catalogue; be given a copy of your professional picture and get to keep all the awesome Fightlab gear that you wear during the photo shoot.

Most importantly though, the Yes Myanmar School will receive all the proceeds from the calendar which they can put towards the computers and playground equipment they so desperately need.

Be sure to keep your eye on our Facebook page so you don't miss out on any future updates.

The Yes Myanmar School is located at 20/8 moo 1, Tambon Rawai, Muang, Phuket, 83130, Thailand
