Fightlab's Chad 'The Grinder' Reiner recently fought in Taiwan at PRO FC 10 - the organisation's first large-scale event. Chad was fighting in the hope to become the first PRO FC welterweight champion against Japanese fighter Takenori Sato.

Unfortunately, it wasn't to be for the Fightlab fighter and Sato clinched victory with an armbar in the first round.

Who better to explain what happened that Chad himself:

"I focused too much on my striking and not enough on my wresting and BJJ game.  When he took me down I wasn't worried and was almost too relaxed.  Most fights it takes me some time to warm up.  When he had my arm I wasn't worried like I should of been because I rarely get caught in armbars, but he had a trick for setting up his arm bar.  He would just grab for a kamura and wait for me to defend and then turn it into an armbar.  I am already asking for a rematch in ProFC or for his Pancrase belt.  Next time I will be thoroughly warmed up and show him that my BJJ game is better.  I know it is and I just made a stupid mistake and didn't defend it as fast as I should of.

He says he would do a rematch and I can't wait to smash him..."

We're confident that Chad will bounce back stronger than ever and can't wait to see him back in the ring again.
